Assisted Delivery

We start all of our calvings by seeing if we can get it out. Sometimes a different set of hands can do the trick getting that head or leg that was giving you trouble. Since we are working out of our vehicle just leave her standing in the chute or let her lie down in the calving pen to give her a break while we drive to you.

Fetotomy

Sometimes the calf doesn’t fit and it already hasn’t made it. To save mom we remove the calf with your help so you can either graft a twin or sell her to salvage some value.

C-section

Caesarean sections, also known as C-sections, are surgical procedures performed on pregnant cows when a natural birth is deemed impossible. You might be caught with a problem bull or a one off heifer, but whatever the underlying cause we can help with the immediate need of getting a live calf on the ground. From there we can discuss options for the coming breeding season to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
